Refund and cancellation policy

Scope

This policy covers paid lessons offered by Edge Service Automation: the Support & Resistance Mapping Intensive, Chart Marking Mentorship sessions, Market Structure Clinics, and confirmed desk briefings. It does not cover third-party brokerage fees, data subscriptions, or travel costs you arrange yourself.

Cooling-off and eligibility

Where Australian Consumer Law provides guarantees, those rights apply. In addition:

• Intensives and clinics — Full refund of fees paid if you cancel in writing at least 14 days before the start date. Between 13 and 7 days, a 50% refund applies. Inside 7 days, fees are non-refundable unless we cancel the event or you provide a medical certificate showing you cannot attend.
• Mentorship — Sessions cancelled with at least 48 hours’ notice may be rescheduled once at no charge or refunded if prepaid. Cancellations inside 48 hours, and no-shows, are charged in full.
• Desk briefings — Custom quotes state cancellation terms; if silent, the intensive timeline above applies from the confirmed delivery date.

Deposits

Deposits that hold an intensive or clinic seat are credited toward the balance. Deposits become non-refundable inside the 7-day window before the start date, except when we cancel or move the date and you cannot attend the new date.

Work already started

If mentorship notes or pre-work review has already been delivered for a prepaid package, we may deduct a reasonable fee for work completed before refunding the balance.

Materials

Printed workbooks and classroom packs distributed on the day are non-returnable. Digital follow-up PDFs already sent are non-refundable as a separate line item (they are included in lesson fees, not sold alone).

How to request a refund

Email hello@edgeserviceautomation.digital with your name, lesson, date, and reason. We confirm eligibility within five business days.

Processing time and method

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 10 business days of approval. Bank processing times may add further days.

Rescheduling

You may request one complimentary reschedule for an intensive or clinic if notice is given at least 14 days ahead and another seat exists. Further changes may incur an administration fee of AUD 75.

No-shows

Failure to attend without notice is treated as a cancellation inside 7 days (intensives/clinics) or inside 48 hours (mentorship).

Exceptions

If we cancel a lesson, you may choose a full refund or a transfer to a later date. Extreme weather or building access issues at Martin Place may force a move; the same choice applies.
