What we collect

  • Identity and contact details you submit (name, email, phone if provided)
  • Enquiry content (preferred lesson, markets, timeframe, message)
  • Booking and payment records when you enrol offline
  • Technical data such as IP address and browser type when essential for site operation, and analytics data if you accept optional cookies (see Cookies)

We do not ask for account passwords, government ID numbers, or full card details through the website form.

Why we collect it

  • Respond to enquiries and arrange lessons
  • Deliver training materials and follow-up notes
  • Meet accounting and legal obligations
  • Improve site performance when analytics cookies are accepted

Retention

Enquiry emails are kept for up to 24 months unless a longer period is needed for an active booking or dispute. Enrolment and invoice records are retained as required under Australian tax law. Analytics data follows the retention settings of the analytics provider when enabled.

Sharing

We use service providers who help us operate email, hosting, and (if consented) analytics. They process data on our instructions. We do not sell personal information.

International transfers

Some providers may store data outside Australia. Where that occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure comparable safeguards, consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions. Contact hello@edgeserviceautomation.digital. You may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner if you are unsatisfied with our response.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information. No transmission method is perfectly secure; please avoid sending sensitive trading account credentials by email.
